"I use GoDaddy for my site..."
I use GoDaddy for my site, and getting the SSL set up was easy. The security alerts have been helpful too. That said, one of the settings was confusing, and I felt a little misled about what was included versus what needed extra setup. Support did help me out quickly, so it worked out in the end, but I wish it had been clearer from the start.

"I got my site up faster than I thought I would"
I expected setting up my domain and site on GoDaddy to be a headache since I’m not very techy, but it was way smoother than I thought. The steps actually made sense to me, and I barely got stuck at all. I had everything up and running the same day, which made me happy with myself. Overall, it worked out really well for what I needed

"Domain setup was super easy, mostly"
I grabbed a new domain through GoDaddy and it was quick. The search was simple, the pricing was clear enough, and the domain popped up in my account right away, which was nice. I didn’t even need to talk to support, so that was a win. I mean, it’s just buying a domain, not life-changing or anything, but I was happy with how smooth it went

I’ve been using godaddy a lot this week to check domains and poke around in my settings, and it’s felt quick lately. A couple pages still took a second longer here and there, but for the most part everything loaded smoothly and didn’t get in my way

I usually get kind of annoyed when a place starts suggesting add-ons, but these didn’t feel pushy or random. I was like, okay, yeah, that actually would be useful, so I didn’t mind it at all. Kind of a nice surprise.

"Got sorted out, even if it took a little while"
My domain renewal wasn’t showing correctly in my account, which was kind of annoying because I wasn’t sure if I needed to do something or just wait. Support didn’t get back super fast at the start, but once someone actually looked into it, they fixed it and explained what had happened. It took longer than I wanted, though I guess it still wasn’t that bad since I didn’t have to keep bugging them over and over. In the end it worked out fine, so I’d say it was a decent experience.

I accidentally cancelled a domain add-on and had to reach out to support for a refund. It took a bit longer than I expected, and I did have to explain the situation twice, which was a little frustrating. But in the end, they approved the refund and the money was back in my account a few days later. Overall, I felt like they handled it fairly, even if the process wasn’t super quick.

Earlier this week, I ran into a small issue with my domain settings and had no idea what I had changed or messed up.
I reached out to godaddy support that afternoon, expecting to be stuck waiting for a while, but I got a reply much faster than I thought I would. The support person explained everything clearly and walked me through the fix without making it feel complicated.

Within a few minutes, it was sorted out, which was a nice surprise. I’ve had to wait much longer with other companies before, so this was a smooth experience overall

"Migration was annoyingly easy"
I’ll admit I was expecting the whole site migration thing to be a headache, and I wasn’t exactly thrilled about dealing with it. But the godaddy support person actually walked me through everything clearly and explained what was going on as we went. It ended up taking less time than I thought, and my site came back up without any drama. I’m not very techy, so having someone guide me made a big difference. I don’t hand out praise too easily, but they did a solid job

I mainly use GoDaddy for keeping up with my domain renewals, it’s been easy enough. I can quickly see what’s about to expire and just get it renewed without much hassle. I do sometimes catch myself going, “Wait, why is that the price?” because the pricing isn’t always as clear as I’d like, but overall I haven’t had any major problems.

“Please do not ever use this company. They are THE WORST and will automatically sign you up for nonsensical and outdated services that do not even work. You cannot complain. Their contact pages are a deliberate maze. They will not speak to you. They lost $10million last year and are now just stealing. They must die.”
